Fulshaw View Cottage Project Overview
Karen and Andy reached out to us following a referral from their close friends who we had recently completed a refurbishment of their lovely 3-bedroom holiday cottage.
Karen & Andy's 1800's cottage had great bones however hadn't been updated since the 60's, meaning that the task at hand was rather large.
With work being required to replaster, the addition of a new heating system and radiators, lighting & electrics, new carpets in the living room and the upstairs of the property, cupboard joinery work, painting of the woodwork, walls, feature wallpaper in the bedroom & study as well as new blinds and curtains throughout.
The furniture was carefully selected to be functional & stylish yet match the overall feel of the cottage with stunning oak statement pieces used throughout the living & dining areas as well as the master bedroom and office.
Our final task was to inject some life and colour into the cottage with beautiful accessories and splashes of bold and tasteful colour scheme.
We were over the moon to have their home completed, furnished and dressed to a beautiful standard just in time for them to enjoy Christmas in their stunning cottage.
They now have the home that these two lovely people truly deserve, and we are so pleased to have had the opportunity to help them achieve this!

Fulshaw View Cottage - Customer Review
After Genesis Interior Stylists were recommened to us by friends, who had recently had some interior design work done to a very high and unique standard by Chris and Jenny on their barn, we contacted them to undertake the almost complete renovation of our 1800's cottage.
This was a big undertaking, and we had a very tight timescale to complete the works. We thought it might be an impossible task but Chris and Jenny managed to pull it off with aplomb!
With their network of high-quality tradesmen, the work was finished in time and completely transformed our once dark and dingey cottage, that was in dire need of updating, into a bright, modern, cosy and comfortable living space, but without losing the character of our home or any of the original features.
Chris and Jenny were a delight to deal with and went above and beyond in helping us achieve our aims. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone - from interior to design to project management or anything in between.
