Mulberry House: holiday-let furnishing

Mulberry House is a four-bedroom holiday-let property in Yorkshire. We worked with returning clients Rachel and Gareth on a furnishing and styling scheme that combines traditional character with contemporary touches.

A UK handmade Chesterfield sofa in leather and Harris Tweed anchors the living space. Selected furniture and accessories complement its materials and shape, giving the room a coordinated feel while keeping guest comfort central to the scheme.

The dining furniture introduces a more contemporary note alongside the traditional pieces. Across the house, the furniture and accessory selections were brought together through a complete design pack, helping the owners see how the individual choices would work as a whole.

Our work with the same owners also includes The Willow Lodge furnishing project. Each property has its own character and brief; the approach is to build a scheme around the rooms and the people using them.

Explore our holiday-let interior design and furnishing service, or tell Chris and Jenny about your property to discuss the support you need.

Feedback from Rachel and Gareth

"Our sincere gratitude for the outstanding work you and your team have done Jenny!
Both Mulberry House and Willow Lodge stand as evidence to you and your team's skill and interior styling expertise.

Jenny's exceptional creativity, and commitment to exceeding our expectations has been remarkable. Her talent in bringing together a complete furniture and accessory design pack was wonderful.
After experiencing working with Genesis Interior Stylists twice now, we are thrilled to announce that they are now the exclusive interior stylists for all of Cottom Properties' future projects. We trust Jenny and her team implicitly and look forward to many more successful collaborations.

With heartfelt appreciation,
Rachel & Gareth Loubser
