The Rydings Project Overview

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Karen on the transformation of this beautiful family home in Thirsk. From our earliest conversations, it was clear that the home had fantastic potential to become a calm, elegant space with a refined yet welcoming atmosphere.

Our approach focused on enhancing the existing character of the property while elevating it through thoughtful design decisions. Soft, layered colour palettes were paired with considered furniture choices, refined lighting, and carefully curated accessories to create interiors that feel timeless, balanced, and effortlessly stylish. Each space was designed to feel cohesive, with a strong sense of flow from room to room.

The bedrooms were approached with comfort and serenity in mind, including the creation of a beautifully resolved en-suite bathroom. This space was designed to feel calm and luxurious without being overworked, using classic detailing, warm finishes, and a layout that works intuitively for everyday living. The result is a private retreat that complements the overall tone of the home.

Working with a client who trusts the process and values thoughtful design is always a joy. This collaborative approach allowed the interiors to evolve naturally, resulting in a home that feels considered, elegant, and perfectly suited to modern living.
