The Acorn Cottage Project Overview
The brief for The Acorn Cottage was to turn a bare barn into a welcoming holiday home. The owner brought a clear sense of the style she liked, giving us a starting point for a scheme with its own character.
Our detailed proposal brought together paint and wallpaper suggestions, interior and exterior furniture, and finishing accessories. Considering these choices together helped connect the rooms and outdoor spaces, rather than treating each purchase in isolation.
The project had a four-week deadline ahead of the October half-term holidays and was completed a week early. That was the timetable for this particular project; availability and scope need to be considered individually when planning another property.
