Heather Mere Cottage
A lovely property set in the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere
Heather Mere Cottage: project overview
Heather Mere Cottage is a holiday-let property in Bowness-on-Windermere. Its owner already had a clear vision for the interior, so our work focused on sourcing the furniture needed to bring that scheme together.
We followed the owner’s direction and offered suggestions where individual pieces needed to work as part of the wider room. This was a furniture sourcing and furnishing project, rather than a complete redesign of the property.
One of our manufacturing partners created a new sofa design for the cottage. The bedrooms were furnished with coordinated pieces and two beds, completing the rooms around the owner’s existing plans.
The project shows how targeted furnishing support can help when you know the look you want but need assistance finding suitable pieces.

A collaborative furnishing project
We enjoyed helping the owner bring the furnishing scheme together. A clear brief and a collaborative approach kept the focus on the pieces the cottage needed.
